The Caribbean’s Most Exciting New Rooftop Bar Is In Antigua

By: Alexander Britell - April 26, 2024

Sipping on an ice-cold Negroni on a warm Caribbean afternoon, peering out at the super yachts in the Caribbean Sea, a DJ set bumping in the background. This is precisely the purpose of the Caribbean’s newest (and most exciting) rooftop bar.

Antigua has a its first cocktail-only bar, and it’s a stunner: the new Negroni Terrazza, a state-of-the-art rooftop bar that’s instantly one of the region’s most exciting new concepts.

The bar is the latest development by Rocks Group, the team behind some of Antigua’s most celebrated restaurants: think Sheer Rocks, Rokuni and Roquita.

The bar has a unique OnTap system for pouring the perfect Negroni.

It’s Roquita that serves as home base for Negroni Terrazza, with the bar set on the rooftop of the Spanish-inspired eatery and lounge.

It’s a partnership between Rocks Group and Nicolson Gin, set in the heart of English Harbour on Dockyard Drive.

The bar uses Nicholson’s OnTap tech, which helps create what the company calls the “perfect cocktail serve.”

The menu, unsurprisingly, has Negronis at the center, but the bar has an exciting range of crafted cocktails, both classics and contemporary creations, both day and night.

On Fridays and Saturdays, things heat up even more with an on-site DJ.

It’s an exciting new addition to already-buzzing Antigua, and the latest in a growing trend of high-level rooftop bars across the Caribbean, from the Graycliff Sky Lounge in Nassau to Le Rooftop at Joel Robuchon in St Barth, among others.
